Life's too short to live without the adventure a dog brings
Revamp, Restore, Relive!
Every dog has his day. Grow Your Vision
As previously stated by the Guru of the breed Jeanne Joy Hartnagle-Taylor in my opening, there has been a change to Aussies in the last 50 years, and they aren't necessarily for the betterment of the breed. Everything that serve a purpose had been altered to some degree. Shorter hocks creating slower gates and pivots, straighter spines taking more shock than the hocks and pasterns put together, the very slope of head shape to redirect livestock kicks now taking direct hits to name just a few, (and for such a young breed, Aussies aren't very old in the timeline of dog breeds) this isn't good news at all. Changes have to be made to preserve their original design, overall function and attitude. Here we aim to maintain healthy, mentally and structurally sound dogs that are eager and ready to take on anything. To do this lovely breed justice in all of those fields. Our dogs have low COI's (under 20%) and good health testing results. I show the physical test reports to each and everyone of my new puppy's owners. Dog's are colour and health tested with clear panels (though the dogs in my program have tested to have low ALT's which is relatively normal in the breed and poses no risk). Hips and elbows have been graded through the orthopedic foundation of animals (OFA).
No traces of dysplasia were found in my dogs hips or elbows by the OFA.
Welcome To Our Website!

Thank you for coming and checking out our page. Here we have our programs goals, health testing results, litter announcements page, and will be updated with more pictures as we grow. Please feel free to explore and roam the site to see what we're all about!
Why?
We are a small program who breeds for solid health, mild temperament and mental acuity while keeping the design, build and workability of the breed. The function follows. Just like the expert Jeanne Joy Hartnagle-Taylor who is a 3rd Generation Aussie breeder and judge in the ASCA would say. She is the author of books; "Form follows function : Seperating fact from fiction'',"Stockdog Savvy", "The Australian Shepherd Judging compendium", "All about the Australian Shepherd from A to Z".
"Few people have better perspective than Jeanne Joy Hartnagle who, as the breed’s de facto historian, has watched Aussies [Australian Shepherds] change over the past half century.” - Show Dog: The Charmed Life and Trying Times of a Near-Perfect Purebred by Josh Dean.
